| Some photos from the Yorkshire airshow held on Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th August 2006. Despite limited RAF involvement this year it was still a fantastic show, Elvington is one of those places which always tries to include something different, this year it was Christian Moullec and his formation Geese! Very impressive.
The weather could have been kinder with a few heavy, but short lived, showers, this did not stop the show and all the aircraft displayed. Elvington has a museum based on the old technical site, this is well worth a visit in it's own right. Entry to the museum was included in the airshow ticket price, numerous exhibits here, star being, in my view, Halifax "Friday the 13th" |
